Lead PM for APAC
Microsoft Dynamics is a global business applications (ERP) solution. Because of the unique local requirements of this product line, Microsoft provides country and region specific competitive and regulatory functionality. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for managing and growing Subsidiary Program Managers in the APAC region. These Program Managers today are responsible for tracking and documenting local market requirements and performing competitive analyses within their countries or regions. The candidate will be responsible for hiring new employees and growing the skills of the existing workforce. He or she will also be responsible for working with the local Microsoft Dynamics marketing and sales leads to define product strategy, specify new functionality for development, oversee development of that functionality, and drive business development opportunities where needed to fill-in product gaps. The candidate will be responsible for helping drive resource allocation decisions across the global development organization and influencing product direction and strategy in the Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV core product development teams.
We are looking for an experienced Lead or Group Program Manager, with the ideal candidate having a background in financial systems and Microsoft development methodologies. Fluency in one or more languages (especially Mandarin Chinese) besides English is preferred. The candidate must have strong strategy, collaboration, and execution skills and be able to manage multiple independent projects simultaneously. Candidates must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, economics, or finance and an MBA would be highly valued. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years software development/program management experience with at least 5 years managing people, preferably at Microsoft, and an established record of shipping global software.
