Overview:
This position is required within the GM OnLine Asia Pacific Account for a Regional Asset/Software Management Lead to support the GM Global Services Contract (GSC32).
The main objective of this position is to manage all GMOL infrastructure, ensuring inventory accuracy, procurement tracking, lease expiry as well as Software license tracking and procurement across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in deploying globally consistent Asset & Inventory tools and processes
• Ensure/ verify that global asset & inventory processes are being followed in the region
• Provide Asset & Inventory related information when requested Hold regular Asset & Inventory related communication sessions with local site managers (to keep them up-to-date of any changes)
• Participate in Asset & Inventory team meetings
• Participate in Asset & Inventory corrective actions activities (when required)
• Acount for all Assets operated or within the scope of GM OnLine
• Validate inventory and ensure modifications are made as required
• Ensure customer has access to GM OnLine Asset information (via GVA and RTPGAA Tools)
• Conduct audits to validate the accuracy of Asset data
• Resolve Asset data discrepancies brought to attention by GM and/or RTPGAA team
• Validate Asset data is accurate and complete in support of the monthly invoice submitted to the GM customer
• Manage Regional Infrastructure Refreshes
• Maintain Accurate inventory as per the Service Level Agreements
• Manage and track SW Licence procurements for GSC32 including all projects
• Understanding of Global Software contractual agreements
• Co-ordinate SW rollouts\updates with request management of licences
• Liaise with Global Online team for any AP region requests
• Contact point for SW maintenance renewals
Basic Functions:
The Regional Asset/Software Management Lead will report directly to the GM OnLine Asia Pacific Regional Leader to facilitate the delivery of:
• Deploy Global/Common Asset and Inventory tools and processes
• Facilitate the delivery of global objectives to provide GM with 100% Inventory Accuracy
• Coordinate and implement Regional Infrastructure Refreshes
• Develop sustainable software licence procurement and renewal model in alignment with Global/Common processes and theory.
• Provide single point of contact in AP for GM customer for Asset Management, Inventory accuracy, hardware procurement, hardware leasing and software licensing.
The Regional Asset/Software Management Lead will manage all assets within the GMOL environment, ensuring the relevant tools (asset centre) are updated as the environment changes. The candidate will also commence the tracking of software licences within AP, working closely with the Global team to ensure accuracy in maintained and EDS liability is forecasted. The candidate must develop an excellent understanding GMOL asset and software such as IMACs, EKMS, HAM, S002 and S004.
The focus of the time will be spent working with the EDS GMOL Site Managers, EDS Global Business Management, EDS GMOL Business Office, various GM Country Managers and coordinating the day to day refresh activities (server and client) and building a knowledgebase of GMOL software licences in the AP environment.

• Project Management (min 5 years)
• Fluent Oral and Written English
• Willingness to Travel as required

o Reporting as required by the contract
o Report on where we are in relation to deliverables
• Achieve Global objectives 100% inventory accuracy
• Ability to deliver to budgets and timelines
• Provide expense reports as required
• Participate in global initiatives
• Implement global direction
• Ensure volume data is available for ARC/RRC billing
• Communicate / Track all problems in assigned space
• Interface with GBM team in AP and Global as required
• Interface with GMOL Global Business Office as required
