Overall Purpose of the Role:
Project / Program Manager
• Successfully manage assigned projects, ensuring delivery of the tasks in accordance to ’s standards and approach and meeting client’s objectives with exceptional quality
• Support demand generation in the course of work and provide subject matter expertise in the field of SAP to pursuits
• Coach and mentor lesser-experienced project managers and potential project managers
Responsibilities:
• Lead a project team which may comprised of employees, client users and other third party staff
• Manage the communication with client key stakeholders
• Manage the project risk
• Manage the project schedule, tasks and deliverables adhering to ’ methodology and quality
• Manage the project budget
• Manage the resource transitions that may occur during project delivery
Qualifications/Experience
• 6-8 years SAP application experience
• At least 3 years SAP project management experience (SAP Implementation) with more than 5 full-cycle SAP implementation projects of successful track records
• Experience in leading a project delivery team more than 10 members (service consultants)
• Experience in managing project P+L
• Familiar with SAP function models and new dimensions
• Strong business sense and industry background
• SAP Partner Academy Certified is a plus
• PMI-certified is a plus
Desirable Skills:
• Good communication skills, especially with C-level, and the ability to adapt and appreciate the different cultural background of the clients
• Exceptional team leadership, and the ability to cultivate team work spirit and motivating all individuals
• Good people management skill
• Good conflict management and negotiation skills
• Creative and sombre in the mind, attentive to details and tactful with words
Special Requirements: e.g. shift work - lifting – on-call required etc..
• Readiness to work overtime, or work at odd-hours as and when required by the project
• Readiness to travel (>=25%)
