Financial Controller China @ A famous UK company in Shanghai. Annual Salary: 500,000~800,000RMB

Overall Purpose
To act as a business partner to the business providing commercial support and management reports to the business operations in China and to manage an efficient and effective Finance operation meeting all group, regional, statutory and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a member of the Country Management Team providing robust commercial support
• Develop management reporting and analysis to assist the business in areas such as margins and profitability
• Manage the finance and process support team to deliver accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support business decision making
• Ensuring Robust financial controls operate within the Country
• Ensuring the Country is fully compliant with all local statutory obligations
• Timely and accurate reporting of results to the Country Management and Regional office
• Support monthly reports and quarterly forecasting for submission to the Asia Regional Management
• Annual budget – take the lead in preparing budgets that tie into the strategy of the country
• Maximise cash flow for the Group by managing the levels of WIP and debtors within the Country and maximising cash remittances to UK
• Liaise with relevant external bodies on financial matters such as accounts and tax
Key knowledge, skills and experience
Essential
• Demonstrated experience of working at this level
• A relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• 8 years of management experience
• Good understanding of accounting procedures and controls
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and IT literate in other MS Office applications
• Strong knowledge of China’s statutory accounting and taxation requirements
Desirable
• Previous experience of JDE OneWorld
• Proven ability to manage projects and co-ordinate actions
• Experience in setting up and managing new legal entities within China

• Proactive approach to managing own workload
