Software Sourcing Manager
Position Description:
Main Responsibility Areas
Supports Mobile Phones, Multimedia, Enterprise Solutions, Teachnology Platforms and CMO in Software sourcing activities in China and APAC region. Is accountable for negotiating SW contracts with best possible terms and conditions. Contributes to target setting of SW sourcing activities, facilitates cross Nokia coordination and ensures that all Nokia internal stakeholders are properly represented. Is responsible for Sourcing service level and plans the Sourcing needs with the internal customers. Implements SW Supply Strategies and contributes to related strategy, process and tool development work. Is responsible for supplier management and participates in supplier selection. Leads sourcing related risk and cost management. Ensures cost competitiveness, cost visibility and forecasting. Identifies proactively and manages supplier & SW related risks with business stakeholders. Manages agreement performance and monitors internal approvals and invoice validity.
Requirements:
Individual portfolio
Typically 3-6 years relevant experience. Previous experience in SW Sourcing or experience of agreement negotiations. Excellent commnication and language skills. University degree.

Business Understanding, Customer orientation, Collaboration, Cost management, SW related risk management (e.g. IPR risks).
Environment
Carries out specialised activities/projects according to general direction. Influences others to support decisions. Works independently with little supervision. Analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. Solutions can often be checked and proved. Medium collegial or consultant interaction.
Business Unit Description:
Software Sourcing team in part of Nokia's Global Sourcing & Procurement organization in CMO. Software Sourcing helps Nokia Business Groups, Platforms and CMO to enhance and develop their product and service offerings with software, content and service suppliers and partners. Software Sourcing improves Nokia's competitiveness by contributing to Business Groups' OPEX/CAPEX efficiency, business model flexibility and overall risk management.
