2. Looking for Network Support Engineer
Here is the job description:
Responsibilities:
- Various network projects such as network design, implementation, troubleshooting, application performance and WAN optimization.
- Support Juniper's globally distributed enterprise, by assist identifying and presenting their requirements to the network engineering team.
- Perform capacity planning and application analysis for network performance and sizing.
- Troubleshoot network latency and contention, application response time.
- Participate in rotating "on call" schedule with other network engineer team members.
- Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of network design, administration and optimization experience in a 24x7 global enterprise LAN and WAN production environment supporting complex, highly-available multi-protocol networks.
- Extensive production experience managing Juniper/Netscreen Firewalls.
- Experience with a variety of routing protocols (OSPF/ISIS/BGP/MPLS) in production environment.
- Strong knowledge of remote access technologies such as IPSEC, SSL-VPN and SSH.
- Experience with WAN and application acceleration deployment and troubleshooting.
- Broad knowledge of VPN architecture, primarily IPSEC-based and L3 MPLS VPN.
- Strong knowledge of L2 technologies including switches, VLANs, spanning tree/rapid spanning tree and VLAN 802.1q.
- Experience with Wireless (WLAN, 802.1x) management and technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, VRRP, NSRP, Funk Radius and SNMP.
- Experience with VoIP/SIP in a production environment.
- History using well-known monitoring and analysis tools: ethereal, tcpdump, mrtg, etc.
- Solid Unix skills and ability to scripting in either shell or Perl is a plus
- Familiarity with Opsware NAS(Network Automation System) and PerformanceIT (ProIT) is a plus.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and provide standby coverage
- This position requires less than 10% travel in US and abroad.
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE preferred, JNCIS-FWV/JNCIA-M/JNCIS-M/JNCIE a huge plus, BS/BA required (BSEE preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal and team skills and ability to work independently are required.
- Experience with standard network change management and configuration policies.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast paced, critical production environment.
Please be noticed:
The position will be located in CNRD, as a member of corporate network services team. It will be part of Global operation, and will support not just china but also APAC, EMEA and US.
Communication skill (mostly English) is a must to this position.
The candidate had to familiar with most of network technology used in enterprise networking environment, but >50% his focusing will be on company core networking.
