Job Title: Account Sales Manager (Urgent)
Grade: E09/E10
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
This role is primarily of a sales nature. It needs to establish direct relationship with customer and understand their short term and long term needs so as to formulate the most appropriate approach and strategy. It needs to work closely with pre-sale and authorized distributor to make the most efficient selling with the best technical solution and commercial portfolio. It also needs to coordinate with post sales and customer service team to ensure the excellent after-sale service to customer to their satisfaction
This role will contribute to increase business and profitability for the CHS product portfolio.
The role has regional sales responsibility for all CHS product in South / West China on behalf of CHS, which includes the following areas;
Sales
? Establish direct relationship with customer and identify their needs
? Make general product presentation to promote our product
? Managing the distributor to ensure their approach is in line with our strategy and goal by
o Providing on-going product training to update our latest technology and product development
o Timely communication on their sales activities through weekly conference and monthly operational review
? Formulate the sales strategy to develop the regional sales by
o Appointing appropriate distributor or agent to approach the customer
o Evaluating the market intelligence on competitor’s feature and pricing against us
o Close monitoring the local government policy on CATV industry
o Partnering with strategic investor
? Coordinate with Pre-sales and distributor to make out the proposal for bidding project and keep tracking the progress to ensure to achieve the goal
? Work with Post-Sales and customer service to provide Class A service to customer satisfaction
Marketing
? Support for marketing activities such as demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars, road-shows and product launches
? Coordinate with distributor to organize regional seminars for specific product selling
Product Development
? Provide market intelligence of our competitor and customer demand to SBU
? Provide feedback to SBU regarding suitability of the products
? Feedback the customer evaluation on our products/solutions offerings to SBU and make recommendation
? Customers and distributor.
? Day to day business activities with the pre-sales, post-sales and customer service teams.
? Applicable SBU contact in the U.S. for all listed responsibilities and authorities
Specific Knowledge/Skills
University Degree in engineering background and preferable in telecom field
? Prior sale experience in the CATV field working for large vendors (Philips, SA, Harmonic, Antec, Cisco)
? Fluent proficiency in oral and written English & Mandarin
? High degree of problem solving
? High degree of independence
? Able to work in a high pressure environment
? Frequent local travel
? Require to station in Guangzhou
? Prior experience in managing distributor
? Excellent knowledge within the Telecommunications and Cable Business areas and product range
? Excellent presentation skills
? Documented marketing and/or technical sales experience
? Excellent team player
