Job Title: Product Manager
Department: Marketing, China
Location: Shanghai, China
Reporting To: Director, Strategy/Marketing/Product, FPS China
Summary of job duties and responsibilities:
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research by on-going visits to customers and close communication with sales teams.
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/engineering, and Marketing communications) through market requirements, product pricing and positions, ways of distribution into the market.
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
As focal point to work with AP Headquarter & internal /external vendor on all new product initiatives and launches.
Provide training and application support on related products/technology to sales and operation team.
Skills & knowledge requirements:
1. High level of business ethics
2. Ability to work independently, flexibility in problem-solving with a high level of efficiency and attention to details
3. Good command in both written and spoken English. Good communication & presentation skills.
4. Self motivated, hard working, responsible, deliver on commitment, promptly react to market and customer.
Experience/qualifications requirements:
1. University graduate or above in business related or other relevant discipline.
2. At least 5 years related working experience in automation control or related industry, experience in Fire product / electronic product management.
3. Strong background on Engineering and Fire experience is preferred.
4. Well versed in Microsoft applications like MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
