Position General Summary
be responsible for the overall learning and learning-related development programs needs survey/ analysis, design, communication and implementation in China.
Job Responsibilities
• Constitute long-term staff training strategy and training plan based on company's rapidly growing business needs, e.g. assess needs, develop, implement and evaluate programs for employees and management development, provide leadership in the deployment of innovative and effective training strategies
• Develop and optimize training system to meet the ongoing training needs, particularly aiming to enhance existing competencies
• Manage the training team, supervise to develop and implement training strategy which includes operational training, functional training (soft skills), MTP and language learning as needed.
• Identify, develop and work with a pool of competent trainers/training executives countrywide to better training local delivery and support all ongoing training initiatives
• Collaborate with regional HR for resources sharing and support momentous activities
• Coordinate the implementation of HQ international training programs on China cluster basis
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all training programs and activities and recommend corrective actions if required.
• Liaise with external service providers to source and procure cost effective training solutions and services, and review both internal and external training resource periodically, and rectify training resource if necessary.
• Enrich the content of knowledge centre, developing various channels for learning and knowledge sharing, and leverage internal expertise for better knowledge management
• Manage staff career development related work, support HRM to develop talents by level by appropriate training or non-training solutions (e.g. coaching and mentoring programs)
• Assist in other HR projects/initiatives assigned
Organization Relationship & Communication Scope
• Report to and supervised by the HR Director
• Have direct involvement with stakeholder groups such as Operations, Corporate Services, Business Development and etc. to ensure alignment and capability to meet their objectives
• There will be interaction, support and guidance from HQ to ensure appropriate resource coordination, to maximize best practices and leverage opportunities to engage HQ learning solutions where appropriate to support China cluster learning function
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Relevant 5-6 years' working experience in HR and training area
• Minimum 2 years' experience in planning, designing and managing training programs at supervisory level.
• 1-2 year HR generalist experience is a plus
Skills & Competency
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in training methodology and curriculum design
• Success to build up efficient training system in fast growing company
• Proactive, energetic, self-motivated & dedicated and result-oriented
• Natural passion to work with people at all levels across the organization
• Leadership in supervising and motivating the staff.
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, oral and written
• Understanding and buy-in of company core values: excellence, integrity, innovation, teamwork and develop our people
