Principal Duties and Responsibilities· Manage the department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources, ensuring delivery against QA department goals and ob<x>jectives, meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule.
· Provide necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, which include tools, frameworks, processes, and methodologies, addressing all phases of product development.
· Directly supervise quality assurance engineers and testers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities.
· Review and take ownership of the design and development of automated test framework to test full suite of products.
· Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with inter-departmental teams.
Skills
· 5-7 years of software quality assurance experience including at least 5-10 years experience in a leadership position.
· Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills a must.
· Fluency in written and oral English communication a must.
· Experience developing test tools and frameworks for large scale, multi-tier applications and systems including, but not limited to web, desktop, and client-server environments with a strong focus on automation.
· Fluency in software quality assurance methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
· Comfort and ability to work with various platforms and languages: Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows.
· Demonstrated ability to meet milestones and deadlines for commercial and enterprise software products.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and learn new things quickly.
· Ability to influence others to achieve results.
· Experience working for large global software corporations a strong plus.
· Professional experience working outside of China for 2+ years a strong plus.
