JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: IT technician
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORT TO: Finance Director & IT Head (based in UK)
DATE:
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure smooth MS China operation from IT perspective
KEY RESULT AREAS AND PRINCIPLE REPONSIBILITIES
- Follow global IT policy, plan, organize and conduct the regional and global IT on projects
- Install and maintain servers, switches, routing equipment and telephony equipment, guarantee the IT system running smoothly. Provide technical support for PCs and LAN in MS china
- Provide IT support to the employees, troubleshoot software and hardware problems
- Establish, execute & monitor network security procedures. Monitor/update virus scanning program to effectively protect company network system
- Suppose the annual IT Budget for MS China
- Negotiate with service contractors and manage a third party vendor to ensure service levels are being met
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- At least 3 years related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft products both client and server with a current MCSE certification
- Strong and independent problem solving skills in PC, server, LAN, internet connection
- Knowledge of Cisco products(Switches/Router),with a current CCNA certification
- Self-motivated, independent with effective execution power
- Analytical and fluent in English and Mandarin
- Strong capabilities in MS power point, excel and word are mandatory
PERFORMANCE MEASURES and KEY RESULT AREAS
- Ensure stable & available LAN and network connection in MS China
- Implement regional and global IT project within schedule, quality, and value
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of the IT budget
- Provide technical support for PCs and LAN in MS china
- Deliver on time solution for employees’ software/hardware/net related problems
