Provide Technical leadership in the Product development team in pursuit of the development and delivery of Marketing Automation solutions that meet the documented user requirements and are delivered on-time and to budget.
Architect various marketing automation solutions being packaged into the Product application based on J2EE to optimize performance, maintainability and portability.
Design the various integration aspects of Product – between the Java components and the Oracle database, between the application server and Crystal Reports, etc.
Initiate the introduction of new technologies with a view to extending the functionality of Product and/or improving the efficiency and quality of the development teams’ deliverables.
Ensure conformance to organizational project management and technology methods, standards and practices and participate in their evolution
Develop and implement an overall technical architecture and associated technical standards for the group.
Convert user requirements/functional specifications/logical designs produced by the Product Manager/Integration Managers into Physical designs and developed solutions utilizing 3rd parties as necessary.
Advise the Integration team on technology capabilities, issues and opportunities
Requirements:
8+ years of IT operational experience
Strong technical expertise in J2EE technologies and strong business acumen, preferably in the CRM domain and/or consumer finance industry.
Should have managed in-house and third party development teams.
Results-oriented individual with a track record of delivering to specification, on-time and within budget
Strong functional knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
