Sr. Manager, Product Management (Idea Tablet Product)
Working Location: Beijing
Managing the Windows-based Consumer Tablet PC line-up to achieve company goals of market penetration
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Working with local team in Beijing and Shanghai in order to define, develop and drive the product strategy for Lenovo’s Windows-based Consumer Tablet- PC’s.
• Achieving time-to-market / time-to-volume goals being set
• Creatively identifying future usage scenarios in order to define worldwide leading product offerings
• Co-work with product operations, project management, design and other cross-functional teams and aspire operational excellence
• Closely monitor weaknesses in current development process in order to improve future development cycles
• Manage and push to solve all product related issues (Time-to-market, quality, cost etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned*
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Product management related working experience in the Tablet PC and/or Smartphone Industry
• Good knowledge in PC technology especially PC’s, Tablets, Smartphones, embedded devices
• Proactive, strong ownership, team work and self-motivated
• Strong leaderships skills, having a track record of managing a team
• Open mindset and being able to network for diverse ideas along the whole organization (globally)
• Very good English language skills
