This person will align the work by CTO organizations in China with key strategic technology initiatives of the company. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with other product groups in China and the rest of the company, with a focus on the regional market.
This person will help strengthen the relationship between***and universities, industry and government in the region by participating in relevant forums and standard bodies. Through these activities, the person will also be able to identify and interpret trends in technology and government requirements, develop local market intelligence and help CTO office to develop strategy and acquisition plans.
This person will help drive technical programs in China COE, strengthen its technical ladder and build local engineering community.
Qualifications:
• A successful career as a research or engineering leader with minimum of 15 years of experience
• Widely recognized by the industry and/or academia
• Deep understanding of technology trends and its impact to **
• Deep understanding of local market, university, industry and government
• Great organization skills with the ability to initiate and execute company-wide programs
• Overseas education and working experience
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
