Our client is leading international real estate developer. It develops and operates mixed use commercial properties with a strategic focus on second and third-tier cities.. With their aggressive expansion in 2010 they need a senior legal counsel to be based in Beijing.
Job Description
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will lead a team of lawyers and report to China legal Counsel. You will in charge of
Negotiating and drafting transactional documents for property acquisition projects in China; including land and asset acquisition.
Providing legal advice to board/management in respect of corporate governance, corporate strategies, finance, expansion investment and any other arising issues
Reviewing and developing company’s internal policies, rules and regulations to ensure in compliance with the state laws and regulations
Leading and coaching team (regional acquisition lawyers will report to this person)
The Successful Applicant
To qualify you must be:
A qualified PRC lawyer with at least 10 years working experience. Oversea working experience is highly preferred.
Have significant experience in property/land acquisition sector.
Have the leadership skills necessary to manage and build a support team
Excellent English is a must.
