a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products like:

Tools for metal cutting in cemented carbide and high-speed steel as well as components in cemented carbide and other hard materials.

Equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries.

Products in advanced stainless materials, titanium, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials and process systems.

Position: Project Engineer

Assumes technical responsibility at the project level;

Lead design team and Direct the work of and provide guidance to Design Engineers;

Ensures product costs are on budget;

Develops new designs as part of new development projects, or in response to customer requests;

Development of product technical specifications;

Visits customers' mine sites to better understand their concerns and application conditions;

Ensures product designs are in compliance with local legislation;

Ensures product component approvals, installation certifications and design calculations are kept up to date;

Prepares engineering drawings;

Performs design calculations to check the suitability of designs;

Schedules and chairs product (team) design reviews;

Ensures product Bills of Material (BOMs) are up to date.

Other duties as assigned.

requirements:

Self starter with a determination to succeed

Strong technical skills

Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly

Degree in engineering, B.Sc, M.Sc.

Strong technical background

Experience in working with continuous improvement in large, complex matrix organizations
