Job Responsibilities:
1; Participation in complete system development life cycle; Understand firmware features & operations to exploit test cases that cause firmware failures.
2; Create and execute test plans and procedures for design verification of firmware.
3; Develop, write and execute test cases to verify FW functionalities and/or optical performance.
4; Develop and maintain FW DVT auto-test SW in an R&D environment using VB.Net.
5; Conduct primary trouble-shooting to determine root causes of test failure
Job Requirements:
1; Excellent experience in software or firmware DVT.
2; Excellent experience in test software development using VB.Net for test equipments control and data acquisition.
3; Programming experience with test equipments such as Oscilloscope, OSA, VOA, Optical Power Meter, Tunable laser source is required.
4; Experience in DSP/MCU coding/trouble-shooting is desired.
5; Good knowledge of digital hardware, DSP/MCU, ADC/DAC, RS232, GPIB, and good knowledge of optoelectronic devices like Raman/EDFA modules, pump lasers is desired.
6; Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, and ability to use software tools like Microsoft Excel to analyze and graphically present data.
7; Good writing and communication skills are required in English.
8; Master (5+ years) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Physics preferred.
