• Develop and implement regional business strategies in coordination with global product line strategies. Direct management responsibility for X Sales Managers and X Market Development Managers. Directly responsible for revenue and contribution growth in the region.
• Develop clear understanding of respective industry environments including value chains, business drivers and competitive environment to create plans for creating value.
• Work closely with Global Marketing Manager and Global Business Managers to provide input to overall strategy development process and then tailor regional strategies leveraging the company’s global position.
• Lead regions' customer segmentation efforts, value pricing strategies, development of customized value propositions and management of product profitability and mix.
• Target and close key opportunities, driving overall performance of the sales effort by providing guidance and tools to succeed.
• Responsible for timely identification and communication of market trends, technical developments, competitive activities and business opportunities that will impact the business
• Implement growth strategy for the business unit in Asia Pacific
• Lead cross-functional effort to ensure best in class customer service levels building from US manufacturing and Regional supply locations and integrate into global SIOP process
• Manage overall regional channel and distribution strategies to drive performance of selected partners.
• Interface with key customers and co-producers to establish high level business relationships
• Working with Commercial Development and leadership team to identify M&A and strategic alliance opportunities and help maintain existing with existing strategic alliance partners.
