ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities will include assisting and/or developing and validating returned components quality control and product validation.
• Testing and qualifying field returns for warranty replacement or jetting issues, and provide detailed analysis for quality control data bases.
• Interpreting data against a specification
• Adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
• Reporting scientific results
• Assisting in or performing failure analysis root cause
• Reporting daily to the Service Depot Manager on work status
• Reviewing Standard Operating Procedures
• Liaising with customers and internal engineers
• Using the internet and email as well as excel and word proficiently
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardizations and specifications. Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Being aware of, and keeping up to date with, health and safety issues in all aspects of the work undertaken.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, 1 years of related experience and/or training.（ink jet experience）
• Experience in general laboratory techniques
• Experience with preparing/standardizing reports
• Strong English verbal and written skills.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and the intranet.
• Will involve travel to the USA with extended stays for training purposes
Qualifications:
• Self starter and work with minimal supervision and direction
• Multitasking, self-schedule work and meet schedule on time
• Pivot table and data interpretation skills
• Experience with a microscope
• Experience using specialized equipment
• Experienced with simple repair of electronic/mechanical systems
• Experience with experimental design
• Calibrating and maintaining equipment experience
• Ability to trouble shoot failures in product and processes
• Knowledge of statistics
• Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
• Time management, good organization, ability to work independently and in a team environment an asset.
• Strong verbal and written skills, capable of making sound decisions quickly and effectively, ability to handle multiple projects, and computer knowledge.
