PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
OUR COMPANY's Global Delivery Bid management Team is a global organization within OUR COMPANY Consulting chartered to support OUR COMPANY Consulting subsidiaries in supporting consulting deals and preparing bids incorporating OUR COMPANY's Global Delivery Model (GDM).
Bid Manager – Global Delivery (GD), as a member of the Global Delivery Engagement Team, will focus on a specific set of solution areas / industry to enable and facilitate Consulting engagements with Global Delivery components. The current requirements are in the areas of ERP / SCM / SRM / NetWeaver / SOA / Retail. The Bid Manager has to support all geographies with specific focus on APJ region.
This will necessitate for the Bid Manager to:

Be the single point of contact for selected GD opportunities to support the subsidiaries in winning consulting deals with Global Delivery work components
#
Participate in preparing RFP responses / Consulting proposals together with subsidiary consulting organizations where there are distinct Global Delivery services potential
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong Knowledge and implementation experience in OUR COMPANY Solutions
Exposure to Project Management, Proposal and RFP responses
Client management skills
A good presenter and communicator, who enjoys building relationships
#
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The GD Bid Manager needs to work closely with the GD Engagement and Delivery teams and will report to the Head of GD Bid Management.
She/he needs to be based out of GDC Dalian and will have following responsibilities:
• Responsible for winning the Global Delivery Consulting engagement with OUR COMPANY customers through close working with GD Engagement Managers, subsidiary Client Partners / CEMs, subsidiary Project Managers, GDC Delivery team members and GD partners.
• Participate in the conceptualization of possible Consulting offerings and identification of GD service components within that.
• Take accountability for preparing Consulting proposals with Global Delivery responsibilities incorporating relevant input from the delivery teams.
• Collaborate with CEMs and GD engagement managers in the presentation of the proposal to OUR COMPANY customer and providing necessary support / clarifications to the account team in the proposal evaluation phase.
• Encourage effective teamwork between engagement and delivery teams.
Key Performance Indicators
• Assigned GD contracted days target
• On time delivery of GD proposals based on established SLAs
• Reduction of turn-around time for response to Field requirements by bringing in process efficiencies and building country-specific customized templates
• GD Delivered Days
Experience and Other Requirements
10+ years of experience in IT industry or IT Services industry with 3 to 4 years in implementation services.
Conducted requirements assessment workshop with business users
Played the role of a Lead consultant / Project Manager at least for one consulting project deliveries
