Big hedge funds such as Citadel uses this strategy quite a bit...A program trade kicks in during the 1st or last hour of the trading session.

The goal is to trigger other copy cat trades and scare the retail investors, long or short alike.

It is mostly used to set up a new strategy...Dow holds 13200 and intraday reversal is very interesting.

Still not enough to say we have reached a short term bottom...patient is key, let's wait and see.
